Cave drawing with grade 2
Recently, grade 2 has been looking to the cave drawings of prehistoric humans for inspiration. Just like the humans from long ago, students created pictures of animals using dry pigments. For more information about cave drawings, check out this site There are lots of fun facts and games to play.

Welcome back!
We are already off to a great start in the art room this year. So far we have been studying artists like Frank Stella, Bridget Riley, and M. C. Escher. We have also been learning about cave drawing and using lines.
Coming soon... pictures of cave drawings by grade 2.
Also, if you are interested in contributing some unconventional materials for art making, we are looking for:
**old magazines
*aluminum foil
*Styrofoam meat trays
**zip lock bags
*small shoe boxes
*old wall calendars
*ribbon/ lace/ yarn/ buttons
*fabric scraps
*plastic containers (all sizes)
*paper towel rolls
Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
