Ms. Lendacky visits the Visionary Art Museum
This past Sunday I took some time to visit a local museum. The American Visionary Art Museum houses art made by artists who are self taught (they did not go to a special school to learn art). My favorite part of the museum was the kinetic sculpture gallery. Here are a few photos of outside the building (no photos were allowed inside).

Sunderland goes to the Gallery
On Thursday, February 12th, the CalvART Gallery in Prince Frederick welcomed Sunderland students and their artwork. The gallery features the artwork of local artists and includes a special gallery that highlights the work of students.
Until the end of the month, the student gallery will feature the work of Sunderland fourth graders. The students created Andy Warhol inspired portraits of a variety of animals.
