Sunderland at the gallery

This January, second grade students had their artwork featured in the student section of the CalvART Gallery in Primce Frederick. Their self-portraits were well received by the community.

Second grade trees

Students in second grade drew silhouetted trees and painted cool to warm sunsets.

Paint by number

First grade students created their own paint by number using odd and even numbers and primary and secondary colors.

Radial sun

Students in forth grade tooled radial patterns into metal sheets.

Fifth grade weaving

Students in grade five wove on looms to create interesting monsters and creations.

Origami Dogs

After reading Andrew Clement's Dogku, students in Kindergarten made origami dogs.

M.C. Escher's tessellations

Students in fifth grade created original tessellations inspired by M.C. Escher's work.
