Still life paintings

Fifth grade students created grayscale paintings and added a colorful acrylic glaze over the top. 

Paper batik

Fourth grade students painted bright tempera paintings of fruit that they outlined in chalk. Once the tempera was dry, they smeared the chalk and coated the paper with India ink. After the ink dried, students put their paintings under running water to reveal their batik style paintings.
